clutch cable routing !!HELP!!

Default clutch cable routing !!HELP!!

i am doing a aod t5 swap and im to the point that i have to route the clutch cable but i have long tube headers and the cable wants tolay on theheaders , mys Q is should i rerout it or can iuse some kind ofstuff like header wrap and put around the area that the cable is touchingand put some around the cable also?

Wrap wont be good enough. I have LT's as well and I have to use some strategically placed zip ties in conjunction with the factory routing tab on the underbody to keep it away. Good luck!
