Wow. At 75, I'm at 2400 with 3.55s. Given, my sidewall height is one size small, but I wouldn't have thought it would make THAT much difference. I need new tires.

Hmm. I guess I should have gotten 4.10s and bigger tires then. By the way, I wonder ifFoxes and 94GTs are comparable in terms of gearing/rpms

i was thinking it would be spinning like 3000 or something close to that, maybe i should call back and change them to 4.10. do you guys know what the top speed would be with 3.73 and 4.10?

thanks again

It all depends on what your plan to do on your car later. If you plan on S/C, turbocharging, or installingover a 125 shot then no your gears are fine. just get a taller tire.

Thanks, PX. I'll eventually get heads, intake, and an exhaust...nothing big. I've always been worried about losing some acceleration when I get taller and wider tires. I have a friend who has a vert with 3.73s and huge rear tires, and he complains about his revs being too high on the highway. I mean will going to stock rolling diameter rears really lower my rpms that much?
