1990 LX Coupe ideas?? Where can I find some??
I have several questions..I have about 8k or so to spend on my coupe. It is not my daily driver as I have a 2000 GT, but I would like to get my coupe up to maybe 400 or so HP with ability to drive on a road course on occasion. I have been doing a lot of reading on this, but it seems there are so many factors to consider. I just want a nice handling pretty quick street worthy mustang that shines above most that I can "drive" on occasion. Any suggestions on suspension, engine setup, turbo, supercharger?? It all just seems too much to take in and analyze since I havent done it yet. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Well, i wouldnt reccomend turbo just because they always seem to exceed the budgeted amount by a lot. You can easily hit 400whp for 8 grand. Do you want to go forced induction or stay NA? You could do a 351W stroked out to a 408. You could stroke the 302 to a 347, you could do HCI on the 302 and supercharge it, or a combination of stroking and supercharging. Personaly i would buy a 351 and stroke it to a 408 with some AFR heads, a custom grind cam and switch over to carbd.
