Default fox body odometer

My brother just bought a 1990 mustang gt, and I was wondering if the odometer flips over at 100k or does it keep going?

Rumor has it on Fords after 100k the tenth mile wheel will be spaced a bit further out as an indication. Seems to be the case on mine, but I didn't see it before 100k either.
