Default Speedometer gear

I had a speedometer correction gear in my AOD for my 4.10's but it fell off somehow while driving it this morning.
It was clipped on too.

I want to get another one ASAP but cant find one locally. I tried Advance and the Ford dealers but they dont sell them. Theres no more performance shops around here.

I remember reading somewhere that the white 23 tooth recalibration gear was actually a part made for a Jeep.
If thats true can somebody possibly tell me what year and model Jeep it was and what other info I need to know so I could try to get it from a Jeep dealer?

Alot of online places sell them but I was looking for a way to get it locally so I can install it today.

I found the part # on Stangnet.
J3167393.

Its an old, normally out of stock part from what one of the local Jeep dealers told me. One about 45 minutes away might have one available (was previously ordered for somebody else) and theyre going to check back with me.

What I would do is call Steeda and ask them where their nearert dealer is. They will tell you and than order it from them. You will have it within a day or two if the place is close.

I would like to try a 21 tooth speedo gear instead of a 23 and see how that works for me.

I just went all the way to the Jeep dealer that said they had it and they didnt have it. They sent it out as a return 4 days ago but it still shows up on their inventory.

Now Ill have to order one.

Supposedly the guy that told me it was there just started yesterday.

Now is there any trick to getting the gear to stay on? I had the one that fell off clipped on but it still came off.

I just ordered one from CJ Pony Parts (Stanpower's ebay link).
