I use to own a 86 mercury capri 5.0, bought it brand new in 1986. I kick myself in the @#$ for selling it back in 1991.......It was red and gray with T-Tops.......I"m stupid!, I'm stupid!, I'm stupid!.

To the original poster: A Capri is identical to the Mustang of the same year with the exception of the sheetmetal. You can build one up to be just as bad as any 'Stang, and have a completely different look. If I had the garage space, I'd have one in a heartbeat.

I can't recall the last time I saw a Capri on the street, but I always liked them

I wouldnt bother with it if its older than an '86 because then it would be carbureted. The carbureted 5.0 is a dog (stock).
oh no you didnt my car is an 84 completely stock except for a new carb exhaust and 16* timing and i ran a 15.1 with street tires bad second gear valve float and the secondary spring was wrong now im down in the low 14's they are not dogs at all i dont know where you came up wtih that one
Hack - for criminy sakes, can you start using some punctuation? Maybe throw in a comma or a period once in awhile?
