Default Exhaust question

I wanna create my own custom exhaust and was wanting to know that it isnt nessesary to use the stock h pipe or any aftermarket x pipes or anything in it? i wanna run it out infront of the rear tires but dont wanna pay the money for any of the kits. What will i have to add if im doing it straight from the headers to the exit?

it would be in ur best interest to make a crossover still, just have them X under the car, youll need just the tubing to fab up from the headers to what ever muffler u wanna use, which ill suggest something in the shape of the slp lm1s, not a regular muffler, just because i dont no where ud get them to fit, then piping from them out, and tips of some sort i guess... as for the part that crosses over, depending on the angle you can buy that x but if its something odd you may be making something custom there too.

ok so i should keep the crossover (what reason is for that? if you dont mind me askin) i think im gonna use my mufflers thati have on it i dont know what they are but they are flat like and sorta diamond shaped at least i believe they are mufflers because they look just like the cats closer up to the engine. i was just wondering wouldnt i be able to do a true dual setup for each side or does that x make a big difference in there? all of the custom piping is gonna be no problem i just dont know about the crossover and that sorta stuff
