I have the hood bolts and it shuts, but the actaully hood lock itself isnt on my hood. It has the latch on the inside that pops the hood up, but not theo ther piece that actaully locks the hood for you. Does anyone know where i can find the other piece of the hood that locks the hood shut. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks. It was driving me crazy, i was driving down the highway(a small 2 lane one) when the hood jsut poped up. Luckily the hood didnt fly off. The bad news is that about 4 square inches of the carbon fiber on the tip of the cowl broke off, and the left side of the firewall is dented in. Oh, and another thing the piece that goes over the firewall opening right at the tip of the hood, that broke into pieces, do you know if napa or autozone or any place sells those peices.

No, it definetely doesnt need to be adjusted it clearly missing the piece that shuts it. Like it may be a little off center but thats not wahts stoping it from clsing shut. Thanks anyway.
