Default how do delete the heater core ?

anyone has any idea on how to delete it so that i wont have to replace it because it's leaking alot of anti-freeze so if i replace it will be alot of work because i'll have to remove the whole dashboard, so does anyone have any idea on how to just blockit even thoughmy heater get's cancel... i dont realy care about the heater ....

yup, cut teh tubes goin into the firewall for the heater core. get another piece of tube and connect them.

take the 2 coolant hoses that connect to the firewall, they go to the heater core get a coupling and put those 2 together and you will not have to worry bout heater core anymore

I bypassed mine with a 3" piece of copper pipe and clamped the hoses to it.

I finally got it fixed last week.

ok theres two hoses going into the firewall for the heatercore. remove them, compleetly, then get another hose the same as them and connect the two pipe lookin things that they came off of, not in the firewall, near the motor... n thats that

The heater core has two pipes coming out thru the firewall. On each pipe theres a hose. You need to connect the two hoses together, not the two pipes. If you connect the two pipes youre just going to spill coolant everywhere.

ok thanks .... i get it now im suppost to connect both the hoses together, does anyone know what size ofconnector will i need and do you guysknow if it's ok to use a plastic one ?

ur tellin me

its like 9 degrees outside and my car has no heat

it also has a world of other problems that in my view, are more important than heat! (water pump, fan clutch, etc..)
