Default heads question

is there any difference in the HO heads form 86-93
somebody told me the 85-86 heads were better than the later model heads

what were the power numbers like

well i know there like e6 heads on the 86 and just about any real good aftermarket hed wont work cuz the valves will hit the piston. i dont see how it would be better since they had a smaller hp rating, but im sure sumone will enlighten us

85-86 heads are worse then the newer ones... i believe there e6 heads? newer ones are e7, still suck, but better.

^lol thats some funny **** right there... ****in, and sbf heads are hard to find in a junkyard[:@]. i tried to get a set of gt40s cuz my dad ****ed one of mine up(long story), but no dice w. in a 2 hour drive. it was hard enough to find e7 heads.

No do not put 86 heads on your truck, they are big p.o.s's. If any put on e7 heads(gt40'swould be awsome ofcourse)

Yeah... 86 heads really suck... you can put trickflow twisted wedge heads on a 86 short block without piston to valve clearence problems. but you need to use the stock cam and 1.6 ratio roller rockers.
