I'm thinking of getting an edlebrock preformer 600cfm off jegs for 220. Do you guys think it will run good? I was also thinking of the thunder avs 650 but that might be alittle more carb than I need for my car as of now. my car is stock besides k&n filter and suspension upgrades. I'm planning on a full wxhaust including headers and h/c/i combo. Will this carb be big enough to give me alittle room to grow untill I get my car to have enough hp to get a demon? The reason I need a new carb is my idle selinoid went out and need a cheap carb. Don't want to repair the one I have because the motorcraft carb is garbage.

650 should be enough unless you plan on going real big with things. I asked the same question when I had to get a new carb...and 600-650 should do you good. Just make sure to get it adjusted when you put it on there. BTW I have a holley 600 on mine, and its a rebuilt stock 302.
