Default What would you do?
I have a 1994 GT 5spd and a 1982 GT with AOD. The 82 used to be a 5spd and someone put the auto in. I am building the 82 for Drag/Street and was wondering if it makes sense to swap the transmisions between the 2 cars and if so how hard would it be ?

Well if the 82 will mostly see track then id stay auto more consistent of course rebuild the stock one and get a 3500stall and go ahead and get a vlave body and ur done!

What is the difference between the AOD,C4,C6 ? except the fact that they are not 4spd's.

The c6 is stronger then the c4 but is heaver.

But if want a aod.Have it sent out to level 10 in NJ.They are the best when it comes to aods

don't waste your time with the c4...back in the day, i had a whole stack of em behind my garage to put into my 85 gt 'cause it kept eating them...those things just didn't last....thank god ford put them in everything...so i had plenty of sources.
