sence i got my carthe fender sits high and out a little on the drivers side. i thinkone of the previous owners had jacked up the car on the pinch rail right below the fender and thats what did it. has anyone seen this before or happened to them?i have a pic just look at the gap near the door molding.

Well, lets see, I think and am pretty sure that previous owner of my ride had jacked up the car and the pinch rail(where the metal seems together right?) b/c its been smashed in little spots, im almost positive that it has been, but the 1/4 panel is fine. Maybe its wrecked and fixed not wuite correctly? Just a thought

thats the jack point, its supposed to be lifted there. they eventually become weak tho. check your fender bolts under the hood. look for rings around the bolts that the bolt head would have created, and is now showing because the fender moved. body problems are hard to find unless you know what your looking for. your problem could be a number of different things.

Maybe they put the jack under the fender, on the plastic...that would do that.

it's gotta be a prob with the fender being bent...door sag is not generally that pronounced on the forward facing part of the door. The door lines up relatively well at the front..it does sag at the back

put a block of wood on the top of the fender and stand on it to push it back down.

I would go with what mattdell said and look of the fender mounting bolts, see if its moved, if so loosen them up and try moving the panel down, if not try standing on it i suppose, its ur car do what u think is right, im no expert, tell ya that

Can you get a better pic? I would be willing to bet the fender upper corner is pushed up into the windshield trim. Also a pic at the bottom where the fender bolts on at.
