how much does elevation play a role in..
your 1/4 mile time?
im asking because the track by my dad's is 5000'
will that effect the time dramatically?
im gonna be running my car soon
and was just wondering
and the elevation of another track around is like 100'
a major difference

yes it will
google "air density" and see what you come up w/
but there are some variables too, you can't compare the track by your house in the summer when it's 100* and humid to the track by your dad's when it's 65* and fat , that would probably be almost equal then.
