Well actually in 99-04, it is still considared the 4th generation mustang, the SN-95.

the 'new edge' is a style reference in which case 94-98 could be referenced as Fox-4

Dude you're crazy, the 99-04 mustang is the S281 or "New Edge" Its a completely diffren't car. I have never heard it called the SN95. The SN95 is sometimes called the Fox 4 cuz its based off the fox mustang still.

hes right 94-04 is still the SN-95, but in 99 they started called them new edges

How come the new GT is called the S197 then? Thats why I thought it was called the S281. I have seen the S281 decal on the sides of new edge cars too.

I dont know what thats all about, a typo possibly? I know all the mags and stuff call the new mustang S197 though...and I have heard the one before that get called the S281. So I donno?
