Okay 5.0 gurus...whatcha think Project 1992 Coupe is gonna run??? 347 Stroker, Trick Flow Track Heat heads and intake, Eagle rods, Scat crank, forged Keith Black pistons (11.0:1 compression), Accufab 75mm TB, 30# injectors, 80mm Pro-M MAF, longtubes, tubular k-member, coil overs with adj. QA1 struts, Strange adj. rear shocks, full length sub-frame connectors, Moser rear end girdle, tubular upper/lower CA's, 3.73's, bigs/littles wheels and tires (Hoosier Quick Times on the rear), 5-speed.

I ran it once at the track after the motor was done on street tires without any suspension work and it ran a 13.79@112 mph with a 2.3 60'.

not sure what it will now, but hopfully better than that! my car went 13.80 with the stock motor with 200k on it. but with your suspension putting the power to the ground, im sure it will be pretty impressive.

should be faster than that. my buddys drop top has the stock bottom end with those trick flow track heats, their a nice head. his car with those heads, stage 1 TF cam, cobra intake, t5, 3.73s on slicks went 12.70s

im just guessing. figure he ran it before w. out the suspension stuff, so w. that, hell be able to hook, figured that should take a little under a sec off or so. now if that was before gears... look at mid low 12s... better yet. go run it... then let us know, lol.

mid to low12's. Although it wouldn't surprise me if you saw an 11, if you can get it to hook at a high rpm. A set of slicks should put you in the 11's.
What cam? What's the car weigh? Where did you get the storker kit from? Was the rotating assembly balanced? Thanks,

Yes, it is a balanced reciprocating assembly, the cam is an "F" cam (I know, I know..not the best cam choice). The car weighed 2800lbs before new front end.

What's wrong with the F cam? Of all the FMS cams I think that's a great cam for a NA motor and still very streetable.
Who did you get the stroker kit from?
Thanks,
