got my license back and been out racing, smoked a v6 camaro, a v6 mustang and a cobalt ss, lol... nothing good around here to race. anyway i was goin to work yesterday and i threw it down in 2nd and got on it to pass a car and a loud bang happened, then a clickin sound, really loud. gets faster as the car gets faster. im thinkin speedo cable? somethin in that area?

well i got on it then jus like a pop, not a backfire i know that. now even at idle it clicks. gets faster when i accelerate. and iono if anything is affected by it yet, had my dad check it out he said the tach seemed to be off. i parked it after it happened. jus wonderin if anyone has any ideas

Was the engine idling or running rough/ +1 on broken rocker.

Maybe you blew out a header gasket. Try to find out where the noise is coming from
