61B is the code for Hatchback. 66b is for coupes and verts. If it is an 89, it should be a 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, or 9 followed by by a letter, unless it is Tropical Yellow which is code 66.

61b isn't a ford paint code, the paint code is 2 letters only. KB, EC, stuff like that

My '88 has paint code 2D - Scarlet Red - which doesn't show on the '88 chart at the '88 link http://www.mustangspecs.com/years/88.shtml. It does show on '87. Any thoughts on why??
