Default Question on smog eliminator!!!! Help

Im getting ready to buy a smog pump eliminator and the only one Ive seen that has 2 holes is the one from ford racing. Now instinct tells me that is Ford built it, it will fit right but at the same time if I can get an $80 piece for $50 then you know. But the other brands only have one mounting hole. Does anyone have a smog eliminator and if so could you give me any info/testimonies on how you like it. Thanks.

i've got the ford racing one i bought from summit:

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

it works fine but sits a little at an angle and eats my belt up; have to replace belt every other month. i think it's probably the bracket the eliminator mounts in and not the eliminator itself but havent got around to checking it.

i think that you could just put a bolt in the hole to seal it up...thats what i plan on doing with mine.

why not just take off the smog pump and run a short belt, that's what i did, it only cost me a new belt. run a piece of string around the pulleys and get a measurement. good luck

770k6 for a stock routing with just a new belt instead of getting a eliminator
