Default Help (351w Problems)

Can someone please help me. I have just rebuilt a 351w that was running fine prior to rebuild. it then hadstock dish pistons, 0.030 crankshaft, manley push rods, the headshave the gt-40 valvetrain in them with 1.7 adjustableroller rockers. The only difference now is that the engine was bored 0.40 over with Keith Black pistons.

Now when i try to crank it, it just spin and won't crank. it's getting good fire and compression. but there is white smoke blowing out of the cold air intake for some reason. this is my first high performance rebuild. can someone please?

Sounds like oil is over-filled.

did you overtighten your pistons down on the crank? and yeah white smoke is usually oil overflow. Did you make sure your rings are in the right place and facing the right way?

I changed the Dist. 180. still the same. Also, as i backed off the screws on the rockers it spent over like it trying to crank more, but just won't crank. This is the first time i have ever encountered this problem. I also chcked the Oillevel and it's fine.
