Default lakewood drag shocks/struts

hey guys im about to get new schoks/struts for my car, just wondering on how the lakewood drag racing ones are. will they hurt handling around corner and just for normal driving? are they worth it at over some tockicos or kyb at the track?

lakewood is a pretty good brand...they dont charge alot for their products either so prob the best route to go, i know i am getting 90/10 and 50/50 struts and springs from them sometime this spring.

Lakewoods are good, but is this car daily driven or driven on the street quite a bit?

If he's got the $$$ I'd go with adjustables. Just my 2 cents though.

Lakewood DRAG SHOCKS are just that.
They are intended for DRAG RACING only, not for street use and certainly NOT for any sort of track use.
I've been using there parts for 35+ years and will tell you they are very good parts for what they are intended for.
I sort of think you need to look at KYB or Tokico......

its not bad, ive got 50/50s and 90/10s w/ no front swaybar and drive it on the street all the time. you just gotta slow down for the corners, hammer it in the straightaways haha

I would lean toward adjustables and get the best of both worlds. I tell ya, I took off my sway bars, and my car is less fun to drive on the street, I could only imagine it with drag shocks...
