I went to DSS racing and asked for a quote on a new engine cause mine is taking a crap on my face. so i just want an easy swap with tons of hp and blower/nitrous ready and this is what they sent me. Is it worth the $6000 bucks? And i already have a new rear end and tranny thats not in my sig no worries on that part. Lemme know what you guys think though thanks!

You know...I probably had over 7000 in the last 408 I built, but I never paid it any mind, I built it myself. I guess it is all a matter of what you wanna do. The 347 used to be one of THE favorite blower motor platforms. But for the kinda cash they are going to hit your for, I would HAVE to go up to the Windsor base. That is just me, in a 4blt main FTW

CNC block and TW heads alone woudl add up to 3 wouldnt it?? Not to mention theyre gonan assemble everything and itll be balanced. For all the work theyre doing and all the parts that are with it, it doesnt really sound all that bad. Granted if you did it yourself it would be cheaper, but that price tag isnt too far out.
Do they offer any sort of warranty?

A local engine builder would take more pride in your motor. You can find a deal on the TW heads online... I would look locally.

BTW, DSS uses stock blocks, not anything special...... A 351 will hold more power and has 4-bolt mains, like mentioned above.....

I think DSS is way over priced on their stuff.

$6,000 and it doesnt even come with a steel crank - listed "nodular iron crank"

DSS has great products and know what they are doing with the 5.0. You get what you pay for from them. I have been in their shop and it is top shelf.
