rear suspension

RE: rear suspension
Gary; Get out the spring cuttin' tools once more.
Rear goes easier than fronts and the shocks are a 'no brainer'.
In fact, rear springs will almost fall out of the car, just be careful of them as they have some energy to them.......

Unbolt the shocks from inside the car and raise the body... this will allow the rear axle to stay on the ground. The springs will decompress and will infact fall out, you can then unbolt the bottom half of the shock, install your new shocks, and lower the car to the point where you can force the springs in without them falling out. Slowly lower the car more and guide the shock mount into the body, and re-attach them to the body.
