Default 13 hours later...

my car now has heat

anyone that needs to replace a heater core...

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

goodluck

there is a 3/8 wrench stuck between the firewall and the hvac case.. its never going to see light again.

the car has alot less rattles now because i took about 6-8 hours putting the dash back together precisely and tight. although i did have about 4 screws left over.. funny how that always happens.

anyway.. it wasnt bad. once u can access the hvac case its pretty simple. aligning the heater core was a bitch.

ford really pisses me off with their designs

Its not that bad. I didnt even drop the heater box. I just took out those 2 bolts off he lid, pushed the box down and slid the heater core right out. Popped the new one in and assembled. Took me a couple hours to figure out what all needed to come apart, and literally 15 minutes to have the car back together.

Funny you should say that.. My speedo used to be perfect, I pull the cable out to get the dash off and now it bounced and jiggles and makes ticking noises, maybe I should put it back in right.

it happens...

i never had the wires out.. i only pryed the passenger side off so i could access the hvac case. i just removed the 2 bolts and ripped it open. i lost the 3/8 wrench tryin to get the 3rd bolt next to the firewall, went to grab it and hit it back and it fell. oh well.
