Default Need some engine tips, advice

Ok guyssoon I will be finished with all my suspension work, I need some good head and cam ideas to get my stang on the road just to get me by, while I save for my blown 408. What I have to work with is just the stock 302 I pulled from my 92. The stock heads are junk and I need lifters too.I plan on carbing it as well. I was thinking a set of TF track heat heads and the TF stage two cam. Any info on the TF cams would be great. Or just any combos you all have tried and liked. Thanks Joe

Great combo. The TFS stage 2 has a 114 LSA for good idle, lopey but stable. It can idle at 850rpms.
Crane makes a PowerMax brand cam identical to the TFS satge 2, SummitPN CRN-449601 for $169.95 including lifters. I don't what the LSA is so you'll have to ask, but I'd guess it's the same.

with that setup i hope ur not trying to passs emissions, but the tfs stage 2 cam is a great cam offers a great lift and duration along with a great lope, sound and poewr band, i think u would be better off with some gt40 heads ported or not they are a decent head, and they are cheap, and a carb i would suggest a holley with a edelbrock intake

good luck
