Rippin the power
Well first of all I am new to this forum so hello guys!! I am a younger kid but I know most of my stuff about cars and how to work on them and things like that. I have a Mustang that has been sitting for about 6 months now and I am wanting to spend some money on it and make it a play toy. It has the flat tappit motor in it right now and I think I am going to buy a rollor motor off a buddy of mine that he just rebuilt. would that be worth the power gain? If I bought that I would put the E303 cam in with a set of Alum. Edelbrok heads that have been P&P with 1.7 rollor rockers also my Edelbrok performer RPM intake with my holley 750. I also have full MSD for this car as in Distribitor. coil, and 6AL box. what does this sound like to you guys?

RE: Rippin the power
unless a serious motor,or a stroker, a 750 is too much..edelbrock calls for a 750 on strip withthe rpm hci set up of theres and a 600 on street...unless ya have headson a 302 its to much a 750...get a 600.mayb a 650 butthats it..and a roller is better on valve train and ya pick up a few hp dependin on the combo...

RE: Rippin the power
hci with the edelbrock set up and a ede flat tappet cam ,yields 367 hp in edelbrock pkg. thats with 9.1 comp and 1 5/8 headers... add comp and the edelbrock rpm roller cam now avilable, will get several more hp...this is fly hp im talkin about//
