Default Roll Cage?

Anyone have experience with Competition Engineering roll cages? I ran a Maximum Motorsports 6 point cage in the Bucket, but looking at an 8 point from Competition Engineering? THANKS in advance.

I have that kit, it was a pain to install, it comes with the main hoop and the strut bars, just fitting the main hoop and rear bars took 6 hours.

if u decide to get it, good luck with the install

They tend to need a bunch of tweeks. I have found that if you don't care about how well the cage tucks up into the top/side areas they are fine. IMO they are made for gutted race cars and not street cars with real interiors. If you can swing it look into getting a custom cage built that really fits the car. I really wish I was closer

Thats true, I have full interior. It took alot of fabrication to get it nice and snug. If you have the time and equipment to do it you should be ok. You know, a good pipe bender, and notcher.

I have just a 4 point right now and it still took a few mods to get everything to fit in real well. Like a lot of other things, you get what you pay for.
