ok. about a month and a half ago i started swapping a 93 fuel injected 5.0into my 84 carbed gt. lots of fun so far. motor is in, wiring and plumbing and all that fun stuff is done. motor won't fire. the coil is getting power, but won't put out any spark. also no fuel is being injected. could not hooking up the neutral safety switch cause this? i skipped it because the old wiring harness is still in the car and it the neutral safety switch is hooked up on the existing harness. i've gone by the book hooking everything up. the only other thing i can think of is possibly i didn't wire the distributor correctly. the idiot i bought everything from cut the plug off the harness and i had to search for a plug and how to wire it. after getting a diagram from somebody on the net i'm hoping it is wired correctly. any help that can be shot my way is so VERY MUCH appreciated.

Are all of your grounds connected? Are the ground surfaces clean?

wow, that could be a million things. I would start checking grounds, and go around with a test light checking all the connections. I dont think the NSS would cause that problem.

I'd be suspicious of the dist. wiring. If the computer doesn't get an ignition signal from the ignition module it wont fire the injectors. Murphy being who he is I would look at your conector first to make sure you have it wired properly.
