I have a 03 impala and put a after market radio in it. The problem is that the Change Oil light came on and I used to turn it off by using the stock radio. Does anyone know how to get around this ? I did a search on the internet and came up empty.

You could try here, worst case it doesn’t work, but at least you didn’t need to take anything apart.

turn car 'ON', DO NOT START
fully depress gas pedal and release, do this 3 times in 5 seconds

turn the key on and press the gas pedal to the floor 3 times within 5 seconds. the light should then flash a few times and go off.
