Default should be some easy questions for some of you

Is the 8.8 rearend considered the same as the 9 inch ford rearend that you always hear about? If I was going to stroke my engine to a 347 how do you make the computer work for you? Is there an aftermarket one for this or how do you go about doing so?

8.8" rear end is different than a 9" rearend, hense they are different sizes. And for the stroker, depends on what car it is, and if you build it up along with stroking it, you can get a tune, or swap out the computer for something custom that can be tuned yourself.

The rearends are different. Don't worry about the computer. Your stock computer will work the 347 just fine.

its an 87 GT that was totally stock. I thought that they were diferent rearends but just wanted to make sure. A 2x4 isnt really 2x4 you know thought maybe it was the same thing thanks for clarifying though.
