[/align][/align]you know a buddy of mine told me to get a new radiator cap.. i really hope this is all it is.[/align][/align]but even if this is so.. where is it all coming from? the lower hose? [/align][/align]and Wisconsin 5.0: the highest wet spot is prolly the connection between the lower hose and the water pump.. nothing out of the radiator cap or anything else really visible from the top of the motor.[/align]

It looks like the radiator. Take it somewhere and have it pressure tested.

try tightening the clamps a bit first. it looks to me like the antifreeze is pushing past the clamping spot and running down the hose.

my car leaks from the radiator... but only when its cold

summer time, I never run low on coolant, but I refill my overflow twice a month when its winter

ok well im going to get it pressure tested at AutoZone. but i guess i still dont get why it would leak that much out of nowhere but then not show any signs of low coolant or any other problems?? ..kinda freaked me out lol ive only had the car for 3 weeks. anyway thanks for your input guys! once again love this forum!!!

yeah best bet is get it pressure tested and watch for where it comes out check the lower weep hole on the water pump could be coming out of there and running down the hose and if it is the radiator hose neck thing it can always be soldered back together

Have you tried to 'SNUG' up the clamps? Don't go crazy, just snug them a little bit more. That happened to me last winter...

ok heres an update:[/align][/align]got it pressure tested at a buddys shop, seemed fine didnt loose enough to worry us. hasnt leaked anymore since i found it this morning. hoses look ok. we did noticed A LITTLE puddle of a red fluid on the top passenger side of the timing cover. so i think i might need a timing cover gasket. and i personally havent ruled out that i might need a new radiator yet.. but i have a place and a buddy that works at a shop to help me so i should be able to take care it whatever it is. [/align][/align]hopefully we can work on it tomarrow night, we are going to pull the radiator out.. check it out. then get a better look at all the hoses. change the timing cover gasket and put everything back together and see what ive got.. wish me luck! lol[/align]
