*updated* coolant puddle under my car!! *HELP* (PICS)
ok so i drove my car last night and everything was fine. i go out to start it today and theres a big puddle of coolant under it! i immediately get a jack and get under it. all i can really see is that it looks like its leaking a lil from the lower coolant hose to the water pump, but the water pump seal looks good. but then from the lower coolant hose to the radiator its all wet with coolant and i cant really tell where its comeing from. like the whole bottom side of the radiator is wet. it has been really cold lately, like in the teens.. is it possible the radiator is cracked??ill try and get some pics up here in a min. any ideas??

replace the hose, clean up the underside with water and refil the coolant and watch to see if anymore is coming out.
its best to rule out the hose since it is the easiest/cheapest thing.

ok now i really dont get it.. it is really cold out, but i started it up, started just fine. drove it around the block a few times, and i cant even get it warm enough to kick my fan on. no temp light, no coolant light or anything. i have a check oil light but its about that time to add a little. but i still cant figure out what this puddle is from?!?

Make sure all the connections are tight. I've seen when it gets extremely cold, the metal contract and can cause a leak!!! Easiest and cheapest thing to try first! Not throw parts at it.

My Windstar was doing the same exact same thing, but no coolant on the floor....turns out I had a bad head casket that was putting oil into the water....the oil was affecting the hose from the return bottle (softening it) so the coolant returning to the radiator was blowing out while driving.... If you are really low on coolant you will get no heat....it also had a bad thermostat (stuck in the open position) so the motor could not bring things up to temp...
Good luck

ok here are some pics that i got:

and heres a pic of how big the puddle is..
PRO.. i did check the fitting of the lower coolant hose, and they both look extremely tight, like the hose is bulging out of the little holes on the hose clamp. i grabbed em to see if i could wiggle them and they seems pretty solid. i did get the radiator cap off and the coolant level is clearly visibile and its like an inch from the very top. and while the car runs you can see if go down when you get it a little throtle and then come back up when it idles down. im so confused! lol
