If you have a perfect A/F now.
None.

Thats what i'm not sure of, After adding a 70mm MAF,TB, and a bigger intake with CAI and better headers, i'm not sure it's optimal anymore.

I'd actually have a hard time believing that it's correct right now.

Thanks for the input.

I suggest you get to a shop that can measure your air/fuel mixture before playing around with it. At least this way you can see the changes, rather than guessing at it. Remember, better to be a little too rich than a little too lean.

Absolutely, that was always my premise when tuning sport bikes.

I guess i should take her down to AED and have it run on the dyno with the sniffer attached.

you got any idea what they charge for time on the chassis dyno? I'm tempted to take mine there but their place is so small I'd have to park my race car trailer across the street and drive over Willis Road to get into the shop and with my luck, the cops would be right there when I did it too.

I'll stop by there and check with them before i go back to the slaveshop, i mean UPS for another 8 hour tour of hell.

I'll let ya know what the charge and when their dyno tuning hours are.

I was running late, so i gave them a call.

The basic 3 run pull is $75.00. Add the sniffer and it's $22.50 more.

You can rent the dyno for $90.00/hour +$22.50 for the sniffer and get 5 maybe 6 pulls.

Sounds like you could rent it for 90.00, run 3 pulls with the sniffer, see where your at on the A/F scale, and get two more pulls to get it right.

If you run your 3 pulls with the sniffer and your dead on, then you've only spent $112.50, but if your A/F is wrong then you can get it right and still only spend $112.50.

Doesn't sound to bad to me.

Hey, that's sounds damn good, might have to drop by there and set up an appointment to really see what my old speed density '88 is putting down. and it wouldn't hurt to dial in the adjustable fuel pressure regulator either to get the A/F ratio right on too.

I checked out that other place I mentioned, Paradise Road Speed and Custom, by phone at 804-275-5559. The lady who answered said they do about anything, muscle cars, race cars, etc. They don't have a dyno right now but they might be adding one in the future she said. I might have to stop in there one day too just to check them out!
