do explorer motors have forged internals and if not will there be a prob with a trick flow stage 2 cam in it, cause this is my new setup the 100th one yea

explorer motor port out the gt40's and keep the intake and put a trick flow stage 2 cam in it, then 1.6 rockers and 24 lb injectors and hardened rods

i thought if it fit in the mustang 302 block then it will fit in the 302 explorer block

b/c it fits fine with my friends mustang block but hes just got ported e7's

that doesn't make sense adder, why wouldn't the stock hypers have valve reliefs

edit: ohhh stage 2 cam, i dunno the specs on that one.

its an awefully large cam... I bet your friend actually degreed the cam to get it to fit... bottom line... wheck your PTV
