Default torque converter stall speeds?

I have a 94 GT with a built up AODE transmission. It makes 220 horsepower to the wheels. The cam in it is an edelbrock performer with .498/.498 lift but it has 1.7 cobra rocker arms on it. The engine has cold air induction, shorty headers, 70mm throttle body, Edelbrock Performer Intake manifold, and a custom tune. When they built my transmission they put in a torque converter with a stall of 2000 rpm's[:'(]. It doesn't put the car into its powerband and basically makes the car pointless to have 7000 dollars in mods if i can't even beat a newMonte Carlo SSuntil 2nd gear where it actually starts to pull hard. What stall speed should I get for a new torque convertor so I can actually get the car into its powerband quick? My carhas 3.55 gears in the rearend also.

Default RE: Need a new torque converter!

Go here, http://www.edgeracingconverters.com/. Take a look around the site and when you're ready, call them and ask to talk to Andre and tell him that you're looking for a stall and he'll hook you up. Mine was about 520 dollars shipped to my door. You won't regret it.
