If the car is a shell, you're going to spending money pretty quick on a tranny, fuel system, ignition, chassis to go with that motor. If your budget is $20k, I'd limit the motor to ~$12k. Dart block Windsor stroker ~10.5:1 with nitrous. 650rwhp or so on pump gas shouldn't be out of the question. I've personally made over 600rwhp untuned on pump gas through an AOD.

Easy, leave it shell with 2 seats and a dash and throw a terminator driveline in it with a 9 inch and good suspension. But thats just my choice

Thanx guys for all the suggestions. Should I stay with the 302 and stroke it out and turbo it?? or should I go with a 351 and nitrous or supercharge it. This is kind of what im thinking. Which would be the better 1/4 mile/street setup. Just keep in mind that this is on Pumpgas..thanx again..

Holy F@#K!!! I wish 20K was my low cost budget build....Day-um.

Aftermarket 351 block, stroked to 393/408, Twin turbo, 9" rear, TKO600 or upgraded G-Force T5, Maximum Motorsports Road & Track Grip box, 3.73's......fast doesn't even begin to describe it![sm=badbadbad.gif]

10's or low 11's should be pretty easily obtainable w/ the right suspension on a TT 408.

you need to think about a turbo system. no bottle to fill $ 55.00 a pop for 10lb bottle around here. boost is at the turn of a ****. 3 psi for cruzin. 15psi for that pesky z06. if you feel the urge for the good gas even better. crank it up.
