The AFR 165s and Canfield 170s flow very similiar on the intake side but the AFRs totally dominate by a decent margin on the exhaust side, which I'm thinkin is why they make such great power on 5.0s. AFR 165s will also have better PTV clearance b/c of the 1.9" intake valves, but with an '82 you might need to cut your pistons either way.

*The Canfield 170 heads are over $100 more than I paid for my 165s, even with my spring upgrade they were $50 cheaper.
