Default 3.55's or 3.73's

What gears would be best for my daily driver 5.0? I do alot of highway driving. Here is a short list of mods: 306, E303, typhoon upper & lower, etc...& all the bolt on's.

taller gears will consume more gas. RPM's will be higher. i' do 3.55's. just my opinion

In my opinion for an Auto 3.73's for a 5spd. 3.55's. Some will tell you 4.10's for anything, these are good ratio's for the best mix of performance and streetable cruising speeds. Good luck!

go with the 3.73's if you like the felling of getting pushed back in you seat from time to time. with a 5-speed i put 3.90's in but i dont care about gas mileage is this car . its just a toy.

The difference between 3.73's and 3.55's is minimal... go 3.73's. The difference is maybe 200rmp's. To be totaly honest, I went from 2.73's to 3.90's with my 93 Auto and I barely seen a drop in gas mileage at all. I dont take it on the highway though, just city cruising.
