Default need help with headers

i just bought new shortie headers for my 1990 GT what i the best way to pull the old rusty shorties out ???

Take your smog stuff off on your passenger side and start unbolting them! make sure you have a can of WD handy..... your gonna need it.

what are you having problems with? Did you remove the smog stuff..... it will make life alot easier when doing headers.

You should be able to just pull both of them out the top on a 90. If you can't get the one out the top on the driver side just unbolt the steering arm and pull it out of the way and take the header through the bottom.

it doesnt have any smog stuff on it should i pull the motor mount and lift it some or is there a easier way

you shouldn't have to do that at all. Just take the air intake off on the passenger side, and it should come out without that much effort.
Driver side should come out the top without taking anything off but if it wont just unbolt the h pipe and lower it down. Then unbolt the single bolt on the steering arm and move it out of the way. Then the header will come out the bottom no problem. Oh I see you got the driver side out already, skip the whole driver side part then lol.

driver side is done my problem on the passenger side is the ac line is in the way or else it would come right out...

You should be able to just wiggle it out, if anything you could unhook the ac line.

ill go try again there aftermarket shorties so that might be why there being a pain
