Drove it for the first time, few problems.
Got to drive hte blue beast today for the first time. It was pretty fun, but I'm still not used to the 5 speed. A problem I've noticed is that the car likes to die a lot. If I come up to a light, put the clutch in and coast it'll die. My theory is that last time I looked I don't think the coolant temp sensor was hooked up, so then the car wouldn't be getting the right fuel mixture for when it's running cold right? Another problem I had is after it stalled I found out the battery was dead, boy was that fun. We pushed it off the street, tried jumpin it but no go. Took the battery to autozone. Cold crankin amps where at like 220, supposed to be at like 560. They charged it up and then it fired right up. So I'm hoping it was just dead because I think the car sat for a while. Any idea on the stalling problem though?

think about it..you come to a stop engine speed slows down therefore alt is not putting enough amps out..ford alt's are very weak and go out on a daily basis. just my thought on the subject

I had the same problem with my SN95 when i bought it. I ended up needing a new ignition module and it fixed it. +1 on the IAC too, get some electrical contact cleaner/MAF cleaner and clean your Maf too.
