probably not adjusted properly... and the rubber will cause you to not be able to adjust it easily because it will cause extra friction against the surfaces... take some pics of it installed so I can see (not doubting you) if its installed properly

I have the same kit and I didn't use the rubber boot. It just didn't want to fit. Its actually easier if you get under the car and adjust the cable till the clutch fork has 1/8 inch of play in it. The clutch should then be disengauged about 2 inches before the floor.

How is it hard to compare... they are the same exact part...

thats like saying you cant compare a cobra intake to a gt-40 intake... they are the same damn thing
