5 liter fuel injection on a 71 challenger...
My brother has a 71 dodge challenger that he is putting a procharged 440 in. He found that carbed with a procharger the 440 won't make all that much power, and gets like 4 mpg. He read that people can put the 5 liter fuel injection system on a 440 with some modificaiton. I was wondering about what all that he would need, and how big of injectors would he need if he is making 600-700 hp? I know he would need a custom lower manifold, what would you guys recommend for the upper? Also what is the biggest MAF and throttle body you can get. Im guessing 90mm and 80mm.

You doubt you can do it since I'm pretty sure that 440's have different firing order. It wouldn't run right even if you switched the injector harness around. I would look into a standalone efi system. Check on summit they sell a couple of them.

he needs to install a 6 pk intake and run 3 throttle bodies
if theres a will there will be a way, when it gets it done i would like to
see it, when i get time to get back to my 70 barracuda it has a 440
mag in it and a efi set up would be great !
there are lots of options if a person understands the electronics well enough
