well if i were u i would not use the 5.0 block for drag racing especially if its ur strict trailer queen the block will only hold so much and prob not enough to get u where u want. But if u insist the swap will be easy, essentially all u need is the motor, and for drag racing carb is the way to go. the motor mounts if he had v8's in it b4 should already be in there and so all u are goin to want to do is upgrade the suspension. and then u can throw the motor in there it wont take long, ur comp is very basic if u have one, and u wont need to do much wire work. get a better tranny and a 8.8 is the rear u want, the ford 9 is for big blocks, a small block will take to the 8.8 very well, if u kno how to build it.
