Default EGR removal, howd you do it ?

Eliminated my EGR, need to block the hole in the header. For those of you who did this, what did you use ? I tried to buy a pipe cap at the hardware store but i couldnt find one that fit it. I know welding could be done, but i'd rather have something that can be removed. I've also read to cut the EGR tube and take the bolt off of it and have the top welded shut, but then again if i ever want the EGR back on then i'd have to get another tube. Thanks

why do you want to get rid of it? just for looks? because thats all you will accomplish by removing it. you wont gain any hp.

Already removed all the smog stuff, and i hate to "modify" my elbow adapter so it would fit with my valve covers, so i cant mount the EGR anyways. Plus i'll have a cleaner inatke.

No, i got the elbow, i had to cut the lower part of the elbow so it would clear my valve covers ( said they were stock height, but def. arent ) so i have nowhere to mount the EGR now, I odnt want it anyways, it doesnt do much....

^ thanks for the link guy. I wish they told me what size they were so i could go find one, but i guess they wouldnt make much money if they did that.....13.99 for a cap.....Rediculous, but i may just have to get it if its my last resort......
