i got bbk shorty headers. but was thinking bout goin long tubes. whats the big differnce about them?

Sorry . Long tubes helpfree upmore powerif you're making a good amount of horse power (anything over 350 or around there), than shorties do.

Longtubes will give you more power then shorts but if you have less then 300hp i wouldnt go longtubes.

dam i might look into some long tubes then.. what kind u think are the best? also i think long tubes would be easy to bolt up to the block when i putthe motordown in the hole again..

long tube have longer tube obviously which gives the gas pressure more time to stablize between the four tubes which give u better pressure bewteen the 4 cylinders on each side of the engine... they are not street legal if u have a visual inspction and are hard to pass on a sinfer so take that into consideration... but with 350+ hp u will notice a major gain i have Mac lts and a prochamber on a mostly stock engine and i even noticed a gain... ive heard bbk headers are easier to install than Mac but i didnt wanna have to worry about bbk headers match up to a pro-chamber and i like hte sound of hte prochamber so i really didnt have a choice... if u just want a basic O/R H pipe or X pipe bbk seems like a good way to go... gl luck either way

Im using hooker long tubes kinda $$$ but were well worth the money. No matter what brand u get make sure its ceramic coated!!!!!!!!

well i work at a auto shop and we inspect cars.. kinda how im on the road with it now lol.. but ya most cops around here i know.. state cops can be ******.. but hell i had a state cop pull me over last summer and told me my car was alwsome and i got out and showed him the motor and the inside, the cage n all.. he was like dam this is nice car.. hes just like have a good day lol.. he stopd me for my cats not on.. dont know how he know.. but there was a vette beside me downtown and i revved it up hard and just shook everything cuz it was inbetween buildings.. i love that lol ha ha
