I am going to get H-pipes for my 94 and i was wondering if it would be better to get them with or without cats. And if I get them with cats do i need a muffler to prevent them from being to loud. And if i get them without cats what kind of muffler should i get that will still sound really deep

ya u'll still need a muffler with the cats

if u have emmissions in your area get cats. other word get cat less... slp muffler systems are nice, i personaly like the flowmasters, but would rather have something else just because everyone has them

do what you want with your car, but, just remember...
removing catalytic converters from any car built after 1973 is a federal offense, punishable by $10k per cat removed.
Federal law. Every state in this great land of ours can fine you, no matter if you have emissions testing or not.

that is true, but most states than don't do testing don't look.. i have been caught a few times for not having cats and the cops just say o well... i'm not saying that it happens in every case but i have been lucky so far... you can always keep the stocker and if you get introuble for it you can but it back on and tell the court that u didn't relize it was illegal and when you found out that it was you corrected the problem, alot of u don't cthe time they will reduce the fine alot if not drop it completely, just don't act cocky or like are.

and yes it's your car do what you like and what you enjoy do it... but please no rice makes me wanna when i see ricestangs

Well the car won't pass emissions with out the cats so get high flow cats that will eliminate four down to two cats from stock the car will sound alittle lounder go with mufflers like flowmaster ......It will sound nice good luck!!

mattdel got me scared now i was going to order my o/r x pipe tonight and i live in california so i do have emissions but i already passed so i got 2 years so mess around but im scared about that federal fine now i dont have 20K too back my *** up
