Default realistically what should i do?

im about to do my rearend. and i want to put 4.10s in and new axels. i have 2 options. get a set of high performance 28 spline axels or get a differential with 31 spline axels. i have a 306 and want to make a 11 second street and strip vehicle. what realistaclly should i do?

how much you lookin to spend. you can go 11's with stock 28 spline axles and rebuilt trac-loc.but if you have the cash then only the best will do. overkill is better than stock any day

I'm pretty sure that moser 28 spline axles are rated to 600ft lbs of torque but you might want to contact them, see what they recommend since they are the experts. A set of c clip eliminators is a must no matter what axleyour running just incase you because you don't want that wheel flying out.
