Default motor flush

im thinking of flushing out my motor it has 155k miles on it and i dont it has never been done what would be the best recommendation to use to flush the motor and what oil to use i currently was using royal purple 10w30

I recommend you don't use it.. all you need is for it to losse sludge to end up in your oil pump pick up screen and clogging it......try changing filter @ 1500 miles for awhile this will help clean things up

I have used motor flush numberous times with out any probs. I would suggest getting some cheap oil to flush your motor out with one more time before you put in the oil you want to use. If you are worried about clogging your oil pick up. Dont use the flush and just get a couple of big things of cheap oil and flush out your motor numberous times with fresh cheap oil. Drain the oil, put some cheap stuff in, warm it up, drain it, and repeat untill you put on the new filter with the expensive oil. That can really help.

i heard rumors that you cant go from synthetic to conventional oil and i also heard to use high mileage engine oil and not full synthenic

you can switch any time doesn't hurt a thing just a myth...you can use sythedic for 100,000's ofmiles....when to not use it, if you have several engine leaks
