clutch

Im putting a new clutch in my car. i got the driveshaft off. now i need to get the shifter inside off.

im in the process of taking the trans apart to put the new clutch in and that part is stoping me.

to get the shifter off? unscrew the shifter ****, remove the trim by prying it up, then remove the four screws that hold the rubber splash thing on with and 8mm wrench. then the shifter is held on by four 1/2 inch bolts, remove them and pull it out. when u put it back be careful to not strip the bolts that hold the shifter in. mine did because it been off so many times and i had to helicoil it.
