Default Frickken Coil!

Since I started my last thread about gas mileage, I have decided to change the wires and coil. I got NAPA 8 mil. and a NAPA coil. The guy at the counter sais this coil is better then the ford OEM one. I dont realley care cause he is proabblt B.S ng me. It's obviously better then my old because its new and my old one is from 1989. But I am getting off the subject.

replaced the wires and plugs. plugs gapped at .o45. Thats correct I guess engine runs fine.
My problem is getting the old coil off. my metric tools dont fit the nut that is real small. like between 5mm, 6mm. Since I'm terrible at fractions I need help what standard size is that
again between 5mm, 6mm. Cant use an adjustable cause it wont fit the nut on the inside.
